“I am excited to work for an organization that is community-focused and different than I have historically served, yet have my work be rooted in the investment world where I have spent the past 25 years.”

Hilary joined The Saint Paul & Minnesota Community Foundations in 2018. On the Investments team, she aids in prudently investing the assets of the Foundations in order to grow the pool and ensure that resources remain available to advance the work and mission of the Foundations.

She has worked in the investment arena since 1992 for a wide variety of institutions, most recently at an investment consulting firm in Connecticut. She is new to Minnesota, though she has familial roots in the state that trace back to the early 1900s.

Hilary earned an MBA from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland and professional designations as both a Chartered Financial Analyst and a Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst. She earned a bachelor’s degree in Business Leadership from the University of Puget Sound in Tacoma, Washington.

In her free time, she enjoys singing, reading, board gaming, hiking, camping and traveling in general. She wears her grandmother’s wedding/engagement ring, purchased at a jewelry store in Minneapolis in the 1930s. Being new to Minnesota, Hilary is actively seeking ways to meet people through volunteer activities.
