Applicants are encouraged to print a copy of the Grant Guidelines and read them carefully before submitting a request to determine if their project fits the Foundation's funding criteria, and to learn more about how to submit an application for funding. For a complete list of all grants forms and information to download, go to Application Packet and Forms.
Mardag Foundation does not make grants through fiscal agents. Proposals must address one or more of our priority focus areas. See our Grant Guidelines.
To determine if a project fits our guidelines and interests, applicants may send a letter of inquiry requesting the proposed project before preparing a full proposal. Your letter should address the information included in the Proposal Narrative Guidelines, which are part of the Application Packet. Keep your letter length to only 2-3 pages with less detail than a full proposal.
- Proposals will not be returned to applicants.
- Please submit only one copy.
- Do not send applications in binders or folders, or include video or audio tapes.
Letters of inquiry and full proposals must be in writing and addressed to:
Grants Administrator Mardag Foundation 55 Fifth Street East, Suite 600 Saint Paul, Minnesota 55101-1797
The Foundation's acceptance for review, of either a letter of inquiry or a full proposal, does not assure that a grant will be awarded.
If you have any questions, please contact a member of our Grants and Program Team. |
