Minnesota Philanthropy Partners welcomes new board chair and three new board members

Minnesota Philanthropy Partners is pleased to announce Chris Hilger as incoming board chair. Hilger is the president of Securian Financial Group, managing the company’s institutional products and services and previously served as MN Partner’s board vice chair. He succeeds Mary Brainerd, president and CEO of HealthPartners as board chair. In addition to new board leadership, MN Partners has also added three new members: Scott Burns, Dr. Joseph Lee and Michael Ott.

Grants lifting up women part of $7.5 million awarded to Minnesota nonprofits

Three grants support new drop-in center for Saint Paul's homeless young people

 On any given day in Saint Paul, there are at least 200 homeless youth on the street, which puts them at risk of sex-trafficking and other victimization. Of those, 70-80 stop by the SafeZone Drop-In Center downtown for a hot meal, a change of clothes, help finding a job or a place to live.

GiveMN Names Executive Director to Ignite More Online Giving for Schools, Nonprofits
